Bachelor of Nursing (Hons)

Your career in good hands

By studying our Bachelor of Nursing (Hons) programme you'll be well equipped for the challenges of working as a Registered Nurse caring for adult patients.

Together we explore a variety of subjects, from physiology, pathophysiology and human behaviour to communicating with patients and providing clinical care.

As well as studying the theory of nursing,  you’ll spend half of your programme gaining practical experience in hospitals, the community and other practice settings. There may also be opportunities for experience overseas.

Training to be a nurse is challenging so we’ve invested in good pastoral and academic support.

Our Graduates rate us highly. In the 2011 National Student Survey, they gave Nursing a 97% satisfaction rating. 95% said they already had a job or were continuing their studies. We’re currently ranked 5th in the Complete University Guide and The Times (2012) Good University Guide.
