Our resident botanist and authority on all things Ness, Tim Baxter, will be extolling the virtues of our unique plant collection which makes Ness such a valuable botanical asset.

Ness Gardens' ontology has been shaped by its unique past which began with the incredible vision of Arthur Bulley and the area's special micro-climate which allows for a variety of peculiar and rare species to inhabit this unusual corner of the UK. Tim Baxter will explore these internationally renowned plant collections which underpin Ness' success. The talk will focus on the significance of the flora in the gardens and how this important store of botanical knowledge can be preserved for future generations.
