Local Wirral-born, historian, Anthony Annakin-Smith delivers this talk which looks at the natural history of the Wirral Peninsula.


Local historian Anthony Annakin-Smith looks at how the landscape of Willaston, on the Wirral, reflects its history over a millennium and more. Looking at the geology, field patterns, route ways, place names and much more, Anthony will reveal clues to Willaston’s past and suggest things all of us can look for to better understand any historic landscape.
