Coronavirus guidance

We are excited to welcome you to the gardens and we want to keep you up to date with the latest measures to protect you, our staff and volunteers.

Last updated: 25 March 2022

You no longer need to book to visit us, but you can still buy day tickets online which are valid until 31 October 2022 or enjoy free year round entry by becoming a member from £25.

Before you visit

Please check our opening times before you set off.

If you think you have COVID-19 symptoms or are self-isolating then you must postpone your visit until it is safe and possible for you to come.

We encourage everyone to test for COVID-19, in line with the latest government guidance.

During your visit

The visitor centre, shop and cafe are open. We are maintaining our enhanced cleaning regimes and ensuring adequate ventilation.

We ask you to maintain social distancing of at least one metre whilst indoors to protect yourself and others.

Please wear a face covering when indoors (visitor centre, any building within Ness including toilets and any event in a marquee) unless you are seated for eating or exempt. This helps protect yourself and others.

Please use the hand sanitiser points that are available at the entrance to and throughout our buildings.

Contactless payments are available at the admission desk, shop and cafe.

All staff, students and volunteers are taking regular Covid-19 tests.

We’ve worked hard to ensure your visit is safe for everyone. We will continue to review our plans and adapt where we need to.
