Woodcarving for Beginners

10am - 4.30pm
This course is designed to teach participants the basic techniques needed in all types of wood carving. The course covers:
- Pattern and design development
- Setting out
- Tool selection and sharpening
- Relief carving and associated techniques
Participants will produce a pattern board of basic cuts that are designed to develop tool control and precision. They will also produce a relief carving to take home. Participants will be encouraged to work at their own pace in friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
All tools & materials supplied.
