Flowers blooming at Ness Gardens

April

It’s the month for Magnolias, the earliest to flower in the gardens. Magnolia sprengeri var. diva which grows behind the potting sheds, can be seen from halfway across the gardens and is spectacular to stand underneath too!

Elsewhere in the Gardens, the main displays of Rhododendrons start coming into flower, with Daffodils naturalised in grassy areas finishing the picture. Stop and stand for a while in amongst the trees and listen to the spring chorus provided by the birds.
