    About

    Personal Statement

I began my Academic and singing career in Montreal as a professional classical singer. My Masters Degree in Music took me to the Big Apple, New York City where I graduated from the World famous Juilliard School of Music. Later I sang for several years in the National Opera company in Toronto. I have enjoyed performing in many cities of the world including, Chicago, Boston, L.A. Vancouver, Paris, Munich, Berlin, London to name a few. I have been fortunate enough to work with great conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle and Zubin Mehta and in my early years with he great Leonard Berstein. I have enjoyed teaching voice along side of my career as well as directing choirs, having been a professional chorister myself. Having lived now in five different countries i am able to speak several languages which serves me in my vocal instruction. Now working at the University of Liverpool as the Choral Director and singing teacher I am passing on my expertise and experience to young singers.
