Tuition fees (Home/EU)
The University's tuition fees are normally fixed at yearly intervals and follow Government guidelines on minimum levels.

International students are required to pay the full costs of their tuition in the UK with each university setting its own international fees. The University of Liverpool's fees represent excellent value for money for a Russell Group University. Fees for postgraduate research programmes are different than for masters programmes and a full list of fees is available on International money and scholarships pages.

Information on potential sources of funding, financial awards, scholarships and bursaries may be obtained by visiting the University webpages or by contacting the School. Normally, funding will cover tuition fees and living expenses for UK students and tuition fees only for other EU students.
There are a number of internal and external funding options open to prospective postgraduate research students within the School. University studentships are occasionally advertised for research on specific topics with individual members of staff. Since 2009, we have been able to offer AHRC BGP studentships in French, german, Hispanic and Italian Studies at both master's and research levels.
