Medical Student Societies | Groups | A - Z

BME Medics

Uniting students of black and ethnic minority groups in the medical field to combat isolation and creating a community in which we can share experiences and learn together.

Medical Leadership and Management Society

MLMS is a brand new society that supports medical students with a passion for leadership and management. We hope to inspire tomorrow’s junior doctors about the career opportunities available in medical leadership (such as consultancy, medical directors, CEO’s etc) as well as provide leadership training to develop the individuals skill set in order to boost their portfolio when applying for roles in the future.

Queermedics Society

QueerMedics is a society for LGBT+ medics and allies who want a better future for LGBT+ patients. We want you to have a safe space to  develop yourself as a professional as you learn about how to better cater to patients of different gender identities or sexualities. We will provide you with teaching sessions and resources to learn more about LGBT+ healthcare and answer your questions. We also want to have fun and meet other LGBT+ students, so look forward to socials and having a good time!

Women in Medicine

A society aiming to encourage and engage women in Liverpool Medical School. We will be running several talks, meetings, presentations and discussions.

We aim to educate students in large issues that effect women in modern clinical practice. This society is open to all genders.

We will be hosting fun bake sales and other exciting fundraising events for several charities to aid women struggling in different aspects of their life. We will support all of our members and look forward to seeing you all at our events!
