Dr Dominic Pickles MBChB FRCP Ba (Hons) MMed

Personal Statement

Dominic graduated from Durham University in 1999 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and went on to read Medicine at Liverpool University, graduating in 2004. He has been a consultant in Acute Medicine at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital NHS Trust since 2012. He was nominated a Fellow of the Royal College Of Physicians in 2018.

Dominic has always been passionate about education, completing a Masters in Medical Education in 2005. He joined the team in 2018 as the new CCP Theme Lead.

Outside of work he is a keen golfer and enjoys all kinds of physical activity including HIIT training, running and walking.
