    Personal Statement

    Dr Longford qualified from the University of Liverpool Medical School in 2002 and completed his GP Training in on Merseyside. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

    He has been a GP Partner on the Wirral since 2016. Dr Longford has particular clinical interest in the care of people with Dementia and their families.

    Working at the University of Liverpool since 2010 as a Community Clinical Tutor, he has taught across all five years of the course. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

    In 2018 Dr Longford was appointed to the role of Theme lead for General Practice. He has particular interests in promoting General Practice, interprofessional working, communications skills and the use of technology in learning.
