    About

    Personal Statement

At the University of Liverpool, I work as Deputy Director of Quality, providing oversight for the quality assurance of general practice (GP) and other community placements. I believe passionately that the best way of supporting doctors to choose GP for their future career is to provide the highest quality undergraduate and postgraduate placements. I am a GP Principal at The Corner Surgery (Southport), where I am a postgraduate GP Trainer and we host undergraduate Student Doctors from the University of Liverpool. I am also the Chair of Sefton Local Medical Committee (LMC), which is the independent, statutory representative of GPs in the Borough of Sefton, and I am the North Southport Locality Lead GP for Southport and Formby Primary Care Network (PCN). Outside of work, I enjoy playing the pipe organ, watching motor racing and family caravan holidays in Wales.
