The following is an overview of the safety measures we put in place for the summer 2021 exams - we will of course continue to review this in line with government advice and restrictions as we plan future assessments.
Venue: Building capacities reduced, PPE including face masks and eye protection (provided) to be worn as standard, clear screens have been introduced in stations.
Station layout: Station sizes have been increased, the number of people in stations have been reduced.
Building flow: Social distancing, one way systems and staggered start times are in place.
Cleaning: Extra time has been allocated in between each candidate for cleaning of equipment.
Examiner briefings: Conducted via zoom using the iPads provided on the day.
Simulated patients: Joined the consultations via video link.
