Personal Statement

I currently work as a Research Fellow investigating the quantification of uncertainty within systems pharmacology to optimise personalised therapy as part of an MRC Skills Development Fellowship. My research interests generally involve the application of mathematical modelling to biological phenomena in order to enhance the understanding of underlying mechanisms and make predictions regarding system behaviour. I am an experienced researcher having worked on many different multidisciplinary projects in academia and industry and enjoy tackling interdisciplinary problems collaboratively. My current primary interest is in systems pharmacology and the integration of quantitative techniques from applied mathematics and statistics to better understand and quantify model-related uncertainty.
