I am module leader for Math291 Mathematics Education and Communication: an optional module which raises students' awareness of current educational practices, develops skills relevant to a career in teaching, and ultimately helps students to decide whether a career in teaching is right for them. I lead the collaborative project Springboard into STEM Teaching across the School of Physical Sciences, which gives prospective teachers bite-size authentic teaching experiences to support their application for Initial Teacher Training.
