Tuition fees (Home/EU)

The University's tuition fees are normally fixed at yearly intervals and follow Government guidelines on minimum levels.

International Students

International students are required to pay the full costs of their tuition in the UK with each university setting its own international fees. Financial Support

UK PhD students are normally supported by a studentship from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) or (in the case of Theoretical Physics Cluster) the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC). Awards from other sources may also be available such as STFC, EPSRC, NERC, CASE and the Wellcome Trust and will be posted on the divisional web pages.
