You will experience a brand-new country and gain new outlooks, customs and activities which might influence your personal development or career in the future.

What motivated you to study abroad?

I chose to study abroad because I realise that it expands our worldview. It also enhances employment opportunities. Studying in a foreign country, negotiating another culture, and acquiring another language will all set us apart from other graduates.

Where did you go and why did you choose this University?

I went to study in the City University of Hong Kong. Hong Kong has become a world-class financial, trading and business center. However, amid the urban hustle there are quiet parks and green spaces, beaches and mountain-top views.‌

What was the biggest challenge how did you overcome this?

Being far from home may be very difficult, but I must say it is worth it. In City University of Hong Kong, I had the chance to meet many new people and created strong friendships that won’t be limited by distance.

What were the most rewarding elements of your time abroad?

There are not enough words to describe how amazing the experience was, or how much I have learned. The things I have seen, the experiences I have had, the memories I have made, and the incredible people I have met along the way definitely exceeded my expectations.

In addition to your studies, what did you do?

I was given the opportunity to see one of the world's largest cities, visit Macau which also known as ‘The Asian Las Vegas’ and spend a week vacation in Thailand.
