Why did you choose to study at the University of Liverpool Management School?

The University of Liverpool is one of the world-class research centres in the UK and is also a member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities, providing a high level of education. I've always wanted to study in the UK and the great study environment here was a big deciding factor for me.

Why did you choose your course?

I spent one year at the Liverpool International College (LIC) before I started at the Management School and the courses they provided developed my interests in both Economics and Business. Therefore, instead of choosing one or the other, I chose to study BA Business Economics.

What do you feel has been the most rewarding element of your placement?

I have enjoyed adapting and succeeding in the more independent way of learning that University provides. I've also had tutor support when unsure of things which has helped my progression.  I now really enjoy the opportunities for self-study and finding out more about the interestings topics we cover.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of studying at the Management School?

I would say the Management School is definitely a great choice for business students. Additionally, don’t be afraid of making mistakes at first, take advice and follow suggestions from your tutors as this will give you the best idea of what to do next. The University of Liverpool Management School also provides many opportunities in order to help you develop your study skills and employability.

What have you enjoyed most about your student experience?

So far I have enjoyed facing the different challenges from my course and making new friends. My overall experience here at the university and in this city has been fascinating and memorable.

What do you get up to when you're not studying?

When I am not studying I love socialising with my friends, usually watching films. There are many different societies and groups at the University and there’s a great social space in the Guild of Students open for all students. I also really enjoy having some private time to do some reading, one of my favourite ways to relax!

What have you enjoyed most about living in Liverpool?

Liverpool is a trendy and lively city. I have enjoyed meeting new people and becoming a more independent person in this beautiful city.
