Syeda Sabreena Zaman: Bangladesh
This MSc has helped me to develop the ability to think and evaluate critically which is a very important attribute to be competitive in today’s world.
What were you doing before you began MSc study?
I received my undergraduate degree from the East West University of Bangladesh in Bachelors of Business Administration, majoring in Finance, graduating with the CGPA of 3.92 which has enabled me to achieve the prestigious Summa cum Laude award. Furthermore, I was on the Dean’s List for consecutive three years and thus was awarded the Merit Scholarship during the same period. Right after my bachelors I joined Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL) as Competitor Intelligence Executive where I broadly looked after the external information management and analysed public information. Afterwards, I joined the Logistics team of British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) as Warehouse Operations Officer where I was in charge of five transit warehouses that held raw materials for production.
Why did you choose to study at the University of Liverpool Management School?

I am a successful recipient of honourable ULMS Future Leader Scholarship which is a full tuition fee waiver.
Which aspects of the MSc course do you think will be most beneficial to your career development?
This MSc has helped me to develop the ability to think and evaluate critically which is a very important attribute to be competitive in today’s world. It will not only benefit me now to achieve good grades but also be beneficial in my future endeavours.
What have you enjoyed most about living in Liverpool?
Besides the natural beauty and festive environment of Liverpool, the super-friendly people of the city are my favourite. Even being 5000 miles from home I feel overwhelmed every morning when I start my day hearing, “Hey love, you okay!” from these lovely bunch.
