Personal Statement

I am a lecturer at the University of Liverpool, department Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship (SIBE). I hold an MSc in marketing research & management and an MSc in research from the University of Groningen. Here I also obtained my PhD.

My current research interest focus is on the influence of institutions on international business activities. Within this topic I work on a wide range of questions via quantitative methods, such as the influence of culture (and cultural differences) on the effectiveness of specific managerial practices (and the ability to transfer them) to understanding how the different characteristics of (and between) institutional environments influences the choices and performance of foreign MNEs.
