Personal Statement

Victoria is Director of Studies for the MSc Digital Marketing (online) programme and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She graduated from her MBA at the University of Liverpool in 2007 and subsequently worked as a manager at a major global luxury beauty brand. Victoria has developed UG and PG online and blended modules at ULMS for which she was awarded a University of Liverpool Faculty Learning and Teaching Award for Excellence and Innovative Practice in the Delivery of Learning and Teaching. She lectures across a variety of on campus and online modules including Marketing Strategy, Business Leadership, International Marketing and Digital Marketing and has been awarded a number of Teaching Excellence Awards over the past 6 years. In 2018 Victoria was awarded the British Academy of Management Education Practice Award in the Early Career Teaching Practitioner Category for her work implementing innovative, creative, blended learning teaching environments and in 2019 Victoria received another Faculty Learning and Teaching Award for a joint project looking at music and creative blended learning techniques. Most recently, Victoria has been evaluating the role of hybrid learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, with a White Paper and webinar for the British Academy of Management; "Developing Digital Content for Teaching in Online and Hybrid Modes of Delivery" and contributing the new UoL Academic Practice Journal with "Community, Adaptability and Good Judgement – Reflections on Creating Meaningful, Sustainable Pedagogy in Uncertain Times". Victoria's research interests include Pedagogic Innovation, Digital Marketing, Luxury Brand Strategy and Leadership.
