Dr Svetlana Flankova PhD

Personal Statement

I am a Lecturer of Strategic Management at the University of Liverpool Management School. I received a PhD in Management from the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland).

My research interests are in the intersection of strategic management, corporate governance, and environmental responsibility. In most of my work I am trying to understand how firms can stay competitive while minimizing harm to the natural environment. My work has been published in Organization & Environment.

Prior to academia I held industry roles in finance in Europe and the U.S.
