Leadership effectiveness - gender, diversity, emotional expressions, relational demography
My main area of research interest centres on leadership effectiveness and in that, I explore how different variables affects how successful leaders are. The are closest to my heart is gender and the bulk of my work looks at when and how women are effective in leadership roles. I am also highly interested in the role that emotions play in the leadership process, particularly when displayed by women leaders.
Psychological and physical well-being
I am also interested in looking at how teams foster individual psychological and physical well-being.
