I started in 1981 as a Lecturer in Economics in the Department of Economics which is now part of the University of Liverpool Management School. I taught Econometric Theory, Applied Econometrics and Time Series Analysis at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. My research area was dynamic and nonlinear econometric modelling with applications in monetary and financial economics. My publications include articles in the Journal of International Money and Finance, International Economic Review and Journal of Political Economy.
Since the summer of 2000 I have been involved full-time with the online programmes. I have worked on the online MBA since its inception in 2000 and on other online programmes more recently. I have taken part in the development of new online programmes and have worked as part of a team from the University in ensuring that our partner, Laureate, maintain quality standards in the provision of online education.
