Dr Nora Meziani

Lecturer Work, Organisation and Management

Personal Statement

I am a Lecturer in Organisation Studies at the University of Liverpool Management School. Prior to joining the University of Liverpool, I was an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) at HEC Montreal, and earned my PhD from La Sorbonne University and ESCP (Paris).

My research interests include sensemaking, communication, intuition, embodiment, and inventive qualitative research methods. Overall, I am specialized in discursive and conversational analysis, and I am empirically interested in public settings such as artistic organisations (film crews in particular), as well as healthcare and HROs (e.g., firefighters).

I welcome enquiries from prospective PhD students interested in researching topics such as sensemaking and embodiment.
