Personal Statement

I joined the University of Liverpool Management School as a university teacher in accounting. Prior to joining, I held a full time academic position as a doctoral associate in accounting and financial management at Sheffield University Management School where I was teaching financial accounting and auditing as well as completing my PhD in Management (with specialisation in auditing). Prior to joining academia, my background was in auditing with Ernst and Young. I passed the uniform CPA examination from California board of accountancy in the United States. I also hold a first-class degree in accounting from Ain Shams University in Egypt and a MSc. in Accounting, Organisations and Institutions from The London School of Economics and Political Science which was fully funded by the British Chevening Scholarship and HSBC UK.
