Dr Mohamed Doukali

Personal Statement

Mohamed Doukali is an Assistant Professor (lecturer) in economics at the University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) since Sep/2023. He obtained his PhD from the University of Montreal. Before joining the ULMS, Mohamed held the position of Assistant Professor at the School of Economics of the University of East Anglia (UEA) in Norwich, UK. Prior to that, he was a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University. His research interests are in econometrics and finance. Recently, he has been working on the development of econometric tools for big economic data and their applications in empirical finance and economics using high-dimensional models.
