Dr Minjoo Kim PhD, FHEA

Personal Statement

Minjoo has joined the Management School's Accounting and Finance group in Sep. 2018. He has previously held a position at the University of Glasgow. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Leeds as well as a BA and MA from the Sungkyunkwan University. His research is dedicated to understanding financial data and suggesting solutions for various empirical issues of financial markets and corporate finance.

Minjoo's research has been published in leading finance journals such as Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking and Journal of Banking and Finance. He has also received an outstanding reviewer award from the Journal of Banking of Finance for his referee services
