Personal Statement

I am the Director of Studies for the Online DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) at University of Liverpool. I joined the Management School in 2017.I have held previous roles in leading doctoral programmes and various academic positions, for over 8 years. I have worked in consulting roles with a focus on technology, virtual knowledge networks, cyber security and specifically on-line extremism and cyber terrorism.

I received a PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London. My main area of research, as a part of the 'innovation and strategy group' is Innovation in Cyber Space, Virtual Communities Software Development and Open Source Software Innovation. I have a particular interest in Hackers, On-line Extremism, Cyber Terrorism and Artificial Intelligence. I welcome PhD/DBA students with an interest in these areas.
