Dr Marcin Michalski

Personal Statement

Marcin Michalski is a lecturer in Finance at the University of Liverpool Management School. Marcin's research centres on the analysis of financial stability policies, such as macroprudential bank regulations, and their effects on the operations of systemically important financial institutions. He presented his work at major international conferences, as well as events organised by the Bank for International Settlements and the Bank of England.

Prior to joining the faculty at Liverpool in October 2018, Marcin worked as a Research Associate in Finance at Alliance Manchester Business School, The University of Manchester, where he also completed his PhD. He holds a MSc degree in Finance, and a BSc (Hons) degree in Management (International Business Economics).

Marcin currently serves as the module co-ordinator of ACFI107 Introduction to Accounting and Finance and ACFI318 Project in Finance. He has extensive teaching experience in finance, macroeconomics, and econometrics.
