Lecturer in Finance Finance and Accounting

    Teaching

    Currently taught modules:

    Corporate Finance I
    Business Finance
    Financial management for Business

The above modules are delivered at Masters (MSc), third year undergraduate and second year undergraduate levels. I am one of the founder members of academic staff for the MSc Finance Programme and I have been Module Leader (and taught) the Corporate Finance module since start of the Programme with name and syllabus change during the last four years as well as sharing the teaching load with a colleague at ULMS over the last four years. The numbers have grown from low twenties to over one hundred twenty. I had also been the Director for the Programme for eight years and seen the numbers and composition of intakes significantly growing. I have been the Module Leader (and teaching) Business Finance module to the third year students since my appointment in Liverpool. For long time, except for the previous three years, when I am assigned to teach the module with a colleague. I have seen the numbers and composition of the intakes growing more than ten folds reaching over 750 in 2015-16. I am now assigned to teach an MSc Module (Managing Finance) starting from 2016/17 academic year instead of the Business Finance module. Financial Management for Business (previously known as Finance for Business Studies) is for second year students who are mainly from the ULMS and some from various other departments and schools across the University. I have been Module Leader and also teaching for more than eight years and observed numbers growing from sixties to over two hundred fifty.

There are several other modules which I have taught here at Liverpool and at the Universities of Manchester and Strathclyde.
