University of Liverpool Management School
The School of Management works with today's leaders in business and management to prepare its students to be the leaders of the future. The school's mission is 'Learning to make a difference' and there is a fundamental belief that the purpose of the School's research and teaching is to develop students who are not only good managers, but individuals who are truly conmmitted to making a difference. We hope that our students will use the knowledge and skills they gain here in their future roles to help solve some of the most endemic problems individuals, enterprises and communities face.
Researchers at the University of Liverpool Management School produce excellent research. We focus on 'making a difference', through published research, knowledge exchange, consultancy, conferences and teaching.
Our approach is both unusual and inspiring, with our experts in economics, marketing, finance, operations, e-business and organisation combining with sociologists, philosophers and others to conduct multidisciplinary research. Close links with the public and private sectors direct and drive our research effort, which addressed the key economic, societal, organisational and management issues of today.
Our academics collaborate through multidisciplinary knowledge platforms, and as a Research Student, you too will associate yourself with the work and academics of an appropriate Knowledge Platform.
