Master in Management graduates achieve career success

Published on

Students outside Management School building

Across sectors and continents, our graduates demonstrate how our Master in Management (MiM) programme equips students with the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to pursue meaningful careers and make an impact from day one in a wide range of sectors, securing roles in public service, global retail, logistics and international organisations.

In the coming weeks, Mihir Singh, will be joining the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as a digital delivery coordinator, combining technology and public service. He will be working on digital projects that benefit communities across the region, which Mihir credits MiM with helping him develop the strategic thinking, problem-solving and communication skills that were central to securing the role.

Since graduating in 2025, MiM pushed Mihir to think critically, communicate confidently, and approach challenges with structure and clarity, believing the skills and mindset developed throughout MiM were instrumental in securing this opportunity.

MiM did not just teach me how to think about business; it taught me how to think about purpose. That shift in perspective is what led me to a role I am genuinely proud of.

For Okram Preeti Devi, MiM opened the door to an international opportunity with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) in Alicante, Spain. As a trainee in the Business Development department, she will support internal communications, strategic reporting and employee engagement initiatives. Okram highlights the programme's collaborative learning environment, industry-focused projects and professional networking opportunities as key contributors to her success.

Step out of your comfort zone, engage with as many people as possible, build authentic connections, and actively participate in the university's events.

In the months since graduating, Hardik More has already experienced rapid career progression at one of the UK's leading value retailers, B&M. After joining as a customs administrator in January 2026, he was promoted within months to Supply Chain Analyst in the Global Network Planning team. He says the programme's focus on business strategy and operations gave him the confidence and structured approach needed to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Make the most of every module, even the ones that don't seem immediately relevant to your career path.

Johaniel Augustine joined Amazon shortly after graduating as a support and operations specialist and was promoted to process control specialist within five months. He now helps plan operations across Amazon's fulfilment network in the UK, Europe and Australia. Johaniel credits MiM's practical projects, teamwork opportunities and operations-focused modules with preparing him for a data-driven global business environment.

Learn, apply and grow; this has been my mantra throughout my journey and continues to guide me today.
