ULMS Extra: Aldi Graduate programme

Published on

As part of ULMS Extra, Mike Aston and Katie Gibbs from Aldi visited the Management School to speak to students about their Graduate Area Manager Programmes as well as their Industrial Placement Programmes.

Students were given a brief introduction to Aldi, including its origins in Germany and history, before learning about how the company has rapidly expanded internationally.

Mike and Katie then spoke at length about their Graduate Area Manager Programme, outlining the benefits and what to expect, using examples from their own experience.  They also explained more about their Industrial Placement Programme, which was particularly relevant for Year in Industry students.  They took students through the procedure for Applications and then invited questions from the floor.

Chrissie Evans, Student Experience Administrator, said "We were delighted to be able to welcome Mike and Katie who spoke about their first hand experience on Aldi's Graduate Programme.  It was encouraging to see so many students attend and learn more about the opportunities available to them post-study".
