UEFA's Thomas Junod & Patrice Coste visit the Management School
Thomas Junod and Patrice Coste from UEFA visited the Management School to launch the Sports Operations Management module of the MBA (Football Industries) programme. They delivered a session on the concepts and organisational structures for the Champions League and Europa League competitions before chatting with students in the ULMS cafe.
UEFA's support was instrumental in the establishment of the module in 2010/11 and it finishes with a simulation exercise held at their Colovray Stadium in Nyon, Switzerland. Students study logistics, marketing and broadcasting in lectures delivered in Liverpool and on site visits which this year include Manchester City and Wigan Athletic.
