A gala dinner will be held on Wednesday 10 July 2019 at the Athenaeum, Church Alley, Liverpool.
The 10th ICSI Conference 2019 will be held between the 9th -11th July 2019 in Liverpool, hosted by the University of Liverpool Management School. The event is co-organized by the International Society of Innovation Methods (I-SIM), the Society of Systematic Innovation (SSI), the University of Liverpool Management School (Local Host) and Nottingham University Business School.
The conference began in 2010, with focus on strategic aspects of systematic innovation business (Strategic & Business Aspects of Systematic Business Innovation), on technical aspects of the systematic innovation of products / processes / services, assisted innovation computer and other new tools, theories and approaches related to systematic innovation or potential integration with systematic innovation, patent analysis, continuous improvement, etc.
Topics of Interest (but are not limited to)
- Strategic and business aspects of innovation methods
- Technical aspects of systematic product/process/service innovations and innovation methods
- TRIZ-based systematic innovation
- Data-informed product and service innovation. Smart design, manufacturing, and services
- Open and collaborative innovation
- Other new technologies, theories, and applications related to systematic innovation.
Paper Submissions
Submit an abstract or extended abstract for evaluation. Include the main ideas and contributions in sufficient detail for evaluation. Please download and follow the templates provided on I-SIM for abstract/paper/presentation files. Direct submissions of full papers for evaluation are welcome. The ICSI conference accepts a full paper, a presentation file, or a full paper plus a presentation file as final submissions. Full papers should be in WORD format, and presentation files in Power Point format.
Only one time, full-paper submissions are eligible to participate in the Paper Competition and can be peer-reviewed toward journal publication. To participate in the Paper Competition, choose the paper competition option and select the appropriate category in the on-line registration process. An international judging committee will blind review the papers for the awards. Selected excellent papers will be recommended to IJoSI, IJRLA, and Engineering Design/Innovation Methods areas of Computers and Industrial Engineering journal (SCI indexed).
CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS: Authors are encouraged to organise special sessions in the Conference. Interested session organisers are requested to submit proposals, include the session title, titles of articles, and a list of participating authors and their affiliations, to the Conference Committee at icsi2019@i-sim.org.

GCSI Project Competition/Exhibition
A concurrent event, the 9th Global Competition on Systematic Innovation (GCSI), will hold its final round of project competition in one of the special sessions of the ICSI conference. The goals of this GCSI exhibition are to promote systematic innovation/TRIZ and help the dissemination of innovation results. Multiple Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze medals and certificates will be awarded. ICSI participants can attend the project presentations and demonstrations free of charge. The Judging Committee reserves the right to adjust the number of awardees based on the quality of the projects.
