Science Leadership and Ethics

The demand for skilled and experienced leaders who can guide their firms or organisations to compete in today’s highly competitive, fast-paced, global, Science and Technology based economy has never been higher. This course will develop the leadership skills necessary for scientists and engineers to exercise leadership, responsibility and initiative throughout their career.

Focused around a one-day intensive seminar the 5-credit Postgraduate-level module explores the relationship between leadership and good ethical practice. Delegates will be introduced to the principles and practice of leadership to enable them to identify and develop the elements of leadership and management pertinent to their own workplace and particular interest.

This course is also a 5 credit University of Liverpool Postgraduate taught module that can contribute to a 35 credit Postgraduate award.
