Virtual Engineering Centre

Those studying our design programmes can benefit from the very latest in virtual technologies. Our sixth floor now houses a Virtual Engineering Centre. The Virtalis ActiveWall features a Christie Digital Boxer 4K projector and an ART 6DoF tracking system. The adjacent suite for VR desktop working contains both a zSpace and an HTC Vive-based ActiveSpace. In addition, Virtalis has provided student licences of its Visionary Render and GeoVisionary software.


Trading Floor

Our Finance students can test their strategies on a new state-of-the-art trading floor simulator, drawing data directly from stock exchanges around the world.


Computing Facilities

Dedicated computer clusters are available for you to use with resources that are easily accessed from your own laptop, mobile phone or tablet. Technical support is on hand at the University of Liverpool in London, backed by a 24/7 Service Desk which you can call on for assistance by email or phone if you need any help.

Printers are also available on every floor, printing A4-size black and white or colour.

Library Facilities

Students in London benefit from their own dedicated library as well as access to many of the existing collections based in Liverpool. 

The large library space includes areas for both quiet study and social learning, and incorporates a range of study rooms which can be booked by students for group work.

The printed library collection includes key readings for all courses as well as supplementary reference material, and books are also available for students to loan from the Liverpool libraries via a free postal service.

London students also have full access to the University’s extensive electronic library which includes over 40,000 ebooks and over 19,000 electronic journals. Library staff are available on-site to offer assistance and provide training in learning resources, literature searching and referencing.

Student Experience Team

The Student Experience Team provides you with a focal point for all your enquiries, all year round. They will help ensure you have everything you need whilst studying at the University of Liverpool in London. They can also direct you to the specialist services across the University.

English Language Support

The University has invested considerably in English for Specific Academic Purposes in-sessional support so we are able to provide an extensive programme of academic English to ensure your learning is supported. Classes run throughout Semesters One and Two and are offered at times compatible with the timetable on your main programme.

Pre-sessional support

Café 33

Café 33, located on the ground floor, provides delicious snacks, drinks and hot lunches - all at student friendly prices.


Multi-Faith Prayer Room

The Multi-Faith Prayer Room is open for use at all times whilst the building is open.
