Dr Samantha Colosimo

I am a Research Associate within the Department of Physics at the University of Liverpool. I specialise in nuclear instrumentation with interests in spectroscopic nuclear physics reseach, medical imaging and security applications.

 I have participated in multiple projects within this field, including the AGATA spectrometer, typically utilising position sensitive radiation detectors.  I am also interested in undergraduate and graduate student teaching, as I have prepared of practicals and courses for PhD/Masters students and supervised student projects.
