Join us for the LINC Seminar Series! The theme for this seminar is neuroimaging and non-invasive neuromodulation.

  • Dr Xiaosong He, University of Science & Technology of China - Dynamic limbic, exectuive decoupling underpins the reciprocal link between drug-resistant state and depression in temporal lobe epilepsy.
  • Dr Edward Rhodes, Department of Psychology, University of Liverpool - An introduction to temporal interference: non-invasive deep-brain neuromodulation.

Dr Xiaosong He is a Research Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Science and Technology of China. He received his Ph.D. in Biophysics from USTC and completed postdoctoral training in epilepsy neuroimaging at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, followed by network neuroscience training at the University of Pennsylvania. His research uses MRI-based multimodal neuroimaging and advanced network methods to investigate epilepsy networks and associated neuropsychiatric comorbidities. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Science Advances, Brain, Neurology, and Epilepsia, with over 3,000 citations and a Google Scholar h-index of 28. He has received awards and fellowship support from the American Epilepsy Society, as well as grant funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He serves as Associate Editor-in-Chief of Brain Network Disorders, contributes reviewer services for leading journals including Brain, Neurology, JNNP, and Epilepsia, and is a member of the ILAE Epilepsy Surgery Network Taskforce.
