China Stories Writing Competition

Calling all writers! The Liverpool Literary Festival Writing Competition is looking for your stories of up to 500 words on the theme of China.

China Stories is looking for the best writers in each of the following categories:

  • Primary School students
  • Secondary School students
  • University of Liverpool students registered on full or part-time courses, including XJTLU

Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in each category, with the winners announced at Liverpool Literary Festival.

There is no entry fee, but each writer can only enter one story.

There is a 500-word limit and all submissions must be written in English.

The deadline for entering is midnight, Friday 20 July 2018.

The primary school category is for to children aged between 5-11 years.
