Prof Rob Van 'T Hof BSc, MSc, PhD

Personal Statement

I received my PhD from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands, with the thesis title "Regulation of osteoclast differentiation and activity by osteogenic cells". After obtaining my PhD, I moved to a postdoc position at the University of Aberdeen. In 2005 I moved to the University of Edinburgh as ARUK senior lecturer (and later reader) in bone biology. In 2013 I moved to Liverpool to take up my current position as Professor of Musculoskeletal Biology.
