The WPO Team collects and uses the types of data listed below so that we can deliver our widening participation programmes.

What type of personal data do we collect?

We collect your name, contact information (address, email and telephone number), educational history and occupation.

What we use your information for

The WPO Team collects and uses Personal Information for reasons related to meeting the aims of the Widening Participation and Outreach Department.

To contact you in case of an emergency, to provide you with programme updates and to undertake analysis, research and evaluation about our work.

Do we share data with anyone?

We share your data for specific reasons only, mainly related to delivering and carrying out research into the outreach programmes we deliver. We do not share or trade your information without your consent except as described below.

We may share your Personal Information with University of Liverpool staff who are working with your family member, in case of emergency.

If required by law we will disclose your Personal Information if required by law or if we, as an organisation, reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our organisation’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or legal process. However, we will do what we can to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.
