What are your career aims following your postgraduate degree and how do you anticipate it will help you achieve them?
After completing my degree I would like to apply for a job in a global international law firm.
What skills have you developed in addition to the knowledge you are learning on your programme?
The postgraduate experience, in addition to academic knowledge, has provided me with an international mind-set and excellent communication skills.
How valuable do you consider these skills? Do you feel they will help you or even give you a competitive edge in your desired career path?
Without any doubt all skills gained whilst studying at the University of Liverpool will be valuable during my career.
Do you consider the postgraduate experience beneficial in other ways?
The postgraduate experience has helped me to build interpersonal skills and network with people with diverse backgrounds, as well as to develop team working abilities.
How would you describe the postgraduate experience to an undergraduate unaware of the differences?
The postgraduate experience is rigorous and challenging and requires a lot of effort from students. Despite these challenges, this experience will enable you with specialist knowledge and will prepare you for pursuing a career in law.
Do you have any advice to offer undergraduates or graduates that are contemplating postgraduate study?
I would recommend the University of Liverpool to all prospective students wishing to obtain a well-rounded legal education.
