Bianca was appointed Lecturer in Intellectual Property Law in August 2019. Prior to this, Bianca was a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the School of Law and Social Justice at the University of Liverpool.
Bianca’s research interests lie in the field of Intellectual Property Law with a focus on the interplay between Copyright Law, technological innovation and the public interest. Bianca’s PhD “Examining the application of blockchain technology as a solution to and the enabler of end-user online copyright infringement” (April 2019) is the first substantive work that addresses the interaction of blockchain technology and aspects of EU Copyright Law. Bianca is currently conducting research the regulation of hosting platforms via Copyright Law.
