Dr Andrea Gideon

Andrea teaches European and Comparative Competition Law as a third year undergraduate module. She has previously also taught EU competition law as an LL.M. module and given guests lectures in competition law at the National University of Singapore and the Universiti Brunei Darussalam. She has supervised master's dissertation in competition law and is now second supervisor in a PhD thesis on competition law. Students wishing to write their dissertations or PhDs on competition law topics are welcome to approach her.

Andrea has been involved in EU law teaching in Liverpool since her start here in 2014. In 2017 she coordinated the 'Law of the European Union II' module. She previously taught EU law at the University of Leeds and the University of Oldenburg (Germany). She has given a guest lecture in EU law at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
