After completing both her LL.B (Hons) degree and her LL.M degree at the University of Liverpool, Amber joined the School of Law and Social Justice as a PhD candidate and Graduate Teaching Assistant in September 2016.


Amber’s research interests lie predominantly in medical law and bioethics, particularly in the legal and ethical issues posed by new reproductive technologies. Her PhD examines how disabled lives have been constructed by the law when it comes to matters of reproduction.
