Law Clinic Projects
The Liverpool Law Clinic has received national recognition for the work undertaken by its students and staff. Most recent awards include Best New Student Pro Bono Activity 2019 for the Anti-Trafficking Legal Project. The Alder Hey project ran by the Clinic was highly commended the for Best New Student Pro Bono Activity 2018 and the Family Court Project was shortlisted for the award in both 2018 and 2019.
Our students contribute to work on high profile cases undertaken by local law firms. For example, in 2014, Law Clinic students won the LawWorks and Attorney General Student Pro Bono Award for the best contribution by a team of students for their work on our Hillsborough project, supporting the work of a local law firm representing the families of 96 people who died in the disaster.
