    Personal Statement

    Claudette is the Co-ordinator for the Charity Interchange which has been based in the University of Liverpool for over 25 years. Interchange connects students with voluntary and community organisation (VCOs) for the purpose of research and work based learning. Her main role is to ensure the smooth running of the Interchange Portfolio and to work closely with third sector organisations (such as the Anthony Walker Foundation, Liverpool Homeless Football Club and Nugent Care) and support them to develop tangible research, work based learning research and policy review project proposals for the soci303 and soci311 modules. Claudette also provides support and guidance to VCOs and students during the period of their research project. During her time she has been Project Manager, Chair, Secretary and Trustee for a number of organisations to include:- Merseyside Racial Harassment Prevention Unit, Irish Community Care Merseyside, Amadudu Women’s Refuge and Riverside Housing Association.
