Shaping the world view of Law and Social Justice

The School of Law and Social Justice is one of four Schools within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The School brings together two widely renowned departments within the University of Liverpool: the Liverpool Law School and the Department of Sociology, Social Policy and Criminology.

We are a prominent centre for innovative, multidisciplinary research that supports and reflects the interests of the many leading academics based here, as well as those of our influential partners. Our research activity feeds highly rated teaching programmes that support flexible learning, offer great choice and attract talented undergraduate and postgraduate students from around the world. The School is also home to a vibrant postgraduate research community, where students benefit from expert supervision and the extended support of the North West Doctoral Training Centre.

With teams dedicated to supporting our students and academics, we are a place where people can excel, both in developing their own talents and in influencing the world around them.
